### Santiment Reveals Interesting Behavior of Crypto Whales

Popular cryptocurrency analysis company Santiment recently released a post drawing attention to some fascinating behaviors of crypto whales. According to the analysts, Chainlink (LINK) has been a pioneer in the resurgence of the altcoin world, with big whales continuing to accumulate LINK tokens.

### Whales Collect 50 Million LINK Tokens

Santiment data revealed that the top 200 cryptocurrency wallets of the Chainlink network added a staggering 50 million LINK to their balances over the last five weeks. At the current market value, 50 million LINK corresponds to approximately 800 million dollars. This accumulation has significantly contributed to the total market value of the Chainlink token, which is now hovering around 9 billion dollars.

### Impressive Rally in LINK and BTC Prices

Analysts also pointed out that the market value of the Chainlink token has surged by 143% in the last five months, while Bitcoin recorded a 93% increase in the same period. Furthermore, BTC price experienced an impressive rally, climbing up to $39,700, while the LINK price has jumped by approximately 8% in the last 24 hours.

### The Rise in LINK Price

When the data is examined, it becomes evident that the surge in the LINK price occurred simultaneously, especially from the second half of October, coinciding with the period when whales started to accumulate. This indicates a strong correlation between the accumulation of LINK tokens by whales and the increase in the token’s market value.

The annual chart also displays a significant rise in the LINK price as of October, highlighting the impact of whale activities on the cryptocurrency’s value.
